Annual
Conference
Each year, thousands of coders
come from all over the country for presentations, classes and the opportunity
to network with their peers at the American Academy of Professional Coders'
annual conference.
The Academy's national
conference is planned with the coder in mind. At the conference you will be
able to learn the latest in coding issues while earning valuable CEUs. The
Academy often plans both preconference and postconference learning
opportunities to get the most out of your travel dollar.

Beyond
the Revolution: Getting Back to the Business of Outsourcing
The recent
barrage of media attention surrounding outsourcing has sparked a controversial
debate, not only in this country, but around the world. Outsourcing has become
more complex in today's highly competitive global marketplace with new players,
new strategies and new concerns. The 2005 Outsourcing World Summit introduces
executives to the new players, and how they can transform your company; the
latest strategies, and how they can benefit your business; and the concerns of
the day, and what businesses must do to prepare for the new outsourced economy.
"With more than
$5 trillion in global outsourcing spending and growth rates of 15 percent or
more per year, outsourcing is proving to be one of the most effective tools
available for strengthening businesses and the overall economy," says Michael
F. Corbett, conference chair and president and CEO of Michael F. Corbett &
Associates, Ltd. "This is why leaders from around the world come to the Summit
every year; to access the latest thinking and the most extensive network of
experience and guidance available anywhere." The Summit, in its eighth year,
remains true to its goal of advancing outsourcing as a management practice.
This message has never been more important and the time has never been better
for us to get back to the business of outsourcing.
